Why can't i use a Spotify gift card to pay for premium?
Spotify gift cards expire after 12 months from the date they were purchased. But that's not the most annoying restriction. Spotify gift cards can only be used to pay for Spotify Premium Individual plans. If you're subscribed to Spotify Premium Family, Premium Duo, or Premium Student, the gift card simply will not work.
How do I pay my Spotify family plan?
We only charge the plan manager (the person who signed up for the plan), never invited members. We charge the plan manager the full amount, regardless of if or how many members join. Note: You can't pay for Premium Family by mobile, or with another company.
